Welcome to Blanca ("we," "our," or "us") — a wellness and meditation app designed to help you find calm, focus, and restful sleep through curated ambient soundscapes and guided meditation music. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application (the "App") on iOS and Android devices.

By downloading or using Blanca, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App and delete it from your device. We encourage you to read this document fully — your peace of mind matters to us, both inside the app and beyond it.

We collect only what is necessary to deliver a personalized, seamless wellness experience. Below is a breakdown of the categories of information we may gather:

We collect information you provide directly (e.g., when you sign up or update your profile), information generated automatically through your use of the App, and information received from trusted third-party authentication providers when you choose to sign in via Google, Apple, or Facebook.

🔒 5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers managed by Google Firebase, which operates globally with enterprise-grade encryption, access controls, and compliance certifications (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.). Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256 encryption.

Locally on your device, Blanca uses Hive (a lightweight local database) and on-device SQLite storage to cache your preferences and downloaded mixes for offline access. This local data does not leave your device except through the sync operations described above.

Important: While we implement industry-standard security measures, no digital transmission or storage system is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please contact us immediately at support@blancaapp.com.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Blanca service. Specifically:

👶 8. Children's Privacy

Blanca is designed for adults and individuals aged 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a child below the applicable age, we will delete it immediately.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@blancaapp.com so we can take appropriate action.

💎 9. Subscriptions & Purchases

Blanca offers premium subscription plans and optional in-app purchases to unlock the full library of sounds and features. All payment transactions are processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and managed via RevenueCat. We never directly handle or store your payment card details.

Subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the applicable App Store policies. To manage or cancel your subscription, visit your device's subscription management settings. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies to all transaction data processed on our behalf.

📝 10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:
